The freshest oysters at the Lake of the Ozarks can be found in our kitchen daily. Along with our daily oyster menu choices, we also feature an oyster of the month. They will always be fresh, and they will always be prepared to perfection. Whether you like them on the half shell, chargrilled, or fried, we've got a flavor for everyone. 

Unbelievable Menu Selection

If you happen to be an ostraconophobiac (meaning you are not a fan of shellfish), we've got a wide array of delicious menu choices available for you too. You will find amazing appetizers, homemade clam chowder, savory salads, signature burgers and sandwiches, mouth-watering entrees, and even delectable desserts. 

People can't seem to get enough of our Lobster Mac & Cheese, the Kill Bill Tenderloin could be considered a sandwich and a half, and if you haven't tasted our Shuckers Pie, then next time you should start your meal with dessert! Our menu is sure to please everyone in your dining party.        

Incredible Weekly Specials

Every week we offer two spectacular food specials that will definitely keep you coming back again and again. Each "Top Sirloin Tuesday" you can get our savory 8-ounce certified Angus top sirloin steak, aged 21 days, along with a baked potato and salad for only $9.99. 

We go for a bit of Cajun flavor with our "Seafood Boil Thursdays." Come in super hungry or bring in a friend or two to share with. For only $19.99, we fill you up with one pound of crawfish, a half-pound of shrimp, a half-pound of Andouille sausage, plus sweet corn and red potatoes. Mmmm boy!  

Fantastic Full Bar (& There's 2 of Them!)

Tuckers Shuckers has a fully stocked bar both upstairs and down. When it's nice outside, we open the windows and you can order directly from the bartender from the deck. Not only do we have all of your favorite spirits, but we also boast 28 different ice cold beers on tap. 

Happy Hour happens every Monday-Friday from 3 pm - 6 pm. Our 22-ounce beers are just $3 each, as well as glasses of our house wine. You'll need something to wash down with those refreshing drinks, so we also offer 50%-off of some of our amazing appetizers during Happy Hour.   

Exciting Live Music and Events

There is always something fun going on at Tuckers Shuckers every single weekend of the year. Once summer rolls around, we infuse a little bit of that excitement into the weekdays too. Our stage hosts the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks. Once a month we hold our now famous Beer Pong Tournaments with a live DJ and big cash prizes.

March Madness Starts THIS WEEK!

College basketball fans everywhere look forward to the NCAA Division I Tournament anxiously each year. This week, it's finally here! Tuckers Shuckers will be showing all of the games and partying like only we know how through the entire tournament. 

The Games

The best place to watch sports at the Lake of the Ozarks is right here with us. We've got 28 HD TVs placed conveniently all over the restaurant, upstairs, downstairs, and even outside. At Tuckers Shuckers, there's not a bad seat in the house. 

The play-in games get the action warmed up on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, March 15-16. The brackets start getting narrowed down this year on Thursday, March 17, at 11:15 am. That's a great way to start St. Patrick's Day!  

The Drinks

Basketball and beer - what a great combination! With our 28 beers on tap, plus a wide variety in bottles, you won't go thirsty. Our talented mixologists are always ready to mix up all of your favorite cocktails. We've got a full bar downstairs, and another full bar upstairs, so plenty of places to belly up! 

The Food

We've got the freshest oysters at the Lake of the Ozarks, along with an entire menu full of delicious menu items to choose from. During Happy Hour, Monday-Friday, we've got an unbelievable half-price appetizer menu available, as well as specials on draft beer and house wine. 

Since the tournament officially starts on St. Patrick's Day, we'll be serving up corned beef & cabbage all day long on March 17. Don't be surprised if that beer you're washing it down with is green, too. 

Play Our Basketball Tournament!

We love watching sports, but we love it even more when we get a chance to play. That's exactly what we're offering our customers this year. No, not a spot on one of the teams in the actual tournament, but a chance to be the "Pop-A-Shot" champion of the lake area. 

Every single day, now through April 4, all paying customers can try their hand at scoring the most baskets. We'll take the highest scoring player daily and add them to our own bracket for our finals on April 4th at 8 pm. Not only will you get bragging rights, but we'll also throw in a $750 gift card for the winner!

25 Super Bowl Fun Facts

Super Bowl 50 is taking place this Sunday, February 7, and the best place to watch the game at the Lake of the Ozarks is Tuckers Shuckers on the Bagnell Dam Strip.  We'll be featuring our Pitcher & Pound special during the game for $9.99, and don't forget all about that 50" Smart HDTV that we're giving away at halftime!

In case you're bored with all of the pre-game junk that they will be showing before kickoff, we've dug up a few interesting Super Bowl facts for you to discuss with the other football fans that are sitting around waiting for the game to start.  

1. In the first Super Bowl on January 15, 1967, the Green Bay Packers defeated Kansas city at the Los Angeles Coliseum 35-10.  

2. The winners of that first game earned $15,000 each, while the losing team took home $7,500.

3. In 2015, the winning Patriots took home $97,000 each, and the Seahawks players each earned $49,000. 

4. The trophy that the winning team takes home was originally called the World Professional Trophy.  In 1970, it was renamed the Vince Lombardi Trophy after the legendary Packers coach.  

5. Tiffany & Co. manufacture the trophy every year.  It is made of sterling silver, is 22 inches tall, and weighs 7 pounds.  The football on top is regulation size. 

6. The name "Super Bowl" was suggested by Kansas City Chiefs founder Lamar Hung during a planning meeting in 1966.  His children were obsessed with the popular Super Ball toy, and that's what made him think of Super Bowl.  

7. Until the late '70s, striped balls were allowed for special games and night games.  Super Bowl VIII was the only time that a ball with stripes was used for the Super Bowl.      

8. Super Bowl XII was the first night game for the title.  Before that it was always an afternoon game. 

9. Every year 72 footballs are used for the Super Bowl.  Over 700,000 footballs are purchased by the NFL over an entire season.  

10. Before 1974, the goal posts were positioned at the front of the end zone.  That season they were relocated to the back of the end zone.

20. The youngest winning head coach for a Super Bowl team is Steelers Mike Tomlin at age 36 in 2009.  The oldest is the Giants Tom Coughlin at age 65 in 2012.  

21. The biggest age difference between two quarterbacks in history is this year for Super Bowl 50.  Peyton Manning (39) and Cam Newton (26) were born 13 years and 48 days apart.

22. Brett Favre and Peyton Manning are tied with 199 career wins.  If the Broncos win this year, Manning will take the all-time record. 

23. Peyton Manning is the only quarterback to go to the Super Bowl with more than one team.  He has played twice with the Colts, and this year will make twice with the Broncos.  

24. The Panthers are 1 of 13 teams that have never won a Super Bowl.  This year will mark their second shot at it.  

25. The Super Bowl cannot end in a tie, but so far no Super Bowl has ever gone into overtime.

There's never a dull moment at Tuckers Shuckers, and the list of exciting events coming up over the next few weeks is proof of that.  Some visitors to the area assume that there is nothing to do in the winter at the Lake.  If you run into any of those people, you send them on over the the best restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks so they can see just how wrong they are!

Winter Beach Party - January 30

George is at it again!  He is the king of planning the last-minute party, and we love it! This Saturday, due to the predicted warm winter weather and the fact that we REALLY miss summer, Tuckers Shuckers is throwing a Winter Beach Party.  DJ Geefer Sutherland is heading down from Kansas City to play all of your favorite summer party music.  The shot girls will be offering some incredibly cheap Vegas Bombs too.  

If you really feel like playing along with this whole "beach" theme, anyone in a bikini gets well drinks and domestic draws for 25 cents!  Don't just throw on any old bikini, though, because at the stroke of midnight we will be giving away $200 in our bikini contest!    

Superbowl Sunday - February 7

Get in and get your seat early to watch the big game.  We expect to have a full house that day.  Not only because Tuckers Shuckers is the best place to watch the game at the Lake of the Ozarks, but also because we are giving away a brand new 50" Smart HDTV at halftime, and you have to be present to win.  Enter every single time that you eat or drink with us between now and the game.  With 28 tap beers, 2 bars, 28 HD TVs, and the most delicious food on the Bagnell Dam Strip, this is definitely the place to be!      

Beer Pong Tournament - February 12

As always, it's free to enter and you could take home part of the $700 in cash prizes given out to the top three teams!  Live music from our DJ will keep everyone's energy high, and you can count on some awesome drink specials.  Sign-up starts at 8 pm and we'll make room for 48 teams to compete.   

Valentine's Weekend - February 13 & 14

Treat your sweetheart to a delicious Surf & Turf dinner for Valentine's Day this year. We are extending this special treat over the entire weekend, so you can get this incredible meal on Saturday and Sunday.  Our full menu will still be available, but in honor of this romantic holiday, we've created an extra tasty meal for $29 per person that includes:

• A 21-day aged 6 oz. filet and a 7 oz. cold water lobster tail
• Asparagus and your choice of potato
• House made clam chowder or salad

Mardis Gras Pub Crawl - February 20

The lake area will be packed with party-goers in masks and beads for the 15th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Mardis Gras Pub Crawl.  For only $10, you get access to 32 buses that will take you around town to more than 20 different participating locations.  Every stop will have some type of live entertainment going on, and here at Tuckers Shuckers we will have the amazing DJ Geefer Sutherland.  Buses run from 4 pm - 2:30 am, and they even make stops at many local hotels and motels along the route.
