If you happen to be an ostraconophobiac (meaning you are not a fan of shellfish), we've got a wide array of delicious menu choices available for you too. People can't seem to get enough of our Lobster Mac & Cheese, the Kill Bill Tenderloin could be considered a sandwich and a half, and if you haven't tasted our Shuckers Pie, then next time you should start your meal with dessert! Our menu is sure to please everyone in your dining party.        

Incredible Weekly Specials

Every week we offer two spectacular food specials that will definitely keep you coming back again and again. Each "Top Sirloin Tuesday" you can get our savory 8-ounce certified Angus top sirloin steak, aged 21 days, along with a baked potato and salad for only $9.99. 

We go for a bit of Cajun flavor with our "Seafood Boil Thursdays." Come in super hungry or bring in a friend or two to share with. For only $19.99, we fill you up with one pound of crawfish, a half-pound of shrimp, a half-pound of Andouille sausage, plus sweet corn and red potatoes. Mmmm boy!  

Fantastic Full Bar (& There's 2 of Them!)

Tuckers Shuckers has a fully stocked bar both upstairs and down. When it's nice outside, we open the windows and you can order directly from the bartender from the deck. Not only do we have all of your favorite spirits, but we also boast 28 different ice cold beers on tap. 

Happy Hour happens every Monday-Friday from 3 pm - 6 pm. Our 22-ounce beers are just $3 each, as well as glasses of our house wine. You'll need something to wash down with those refreshing drinks, so we also offer 50%-off of some of our amazing appetizers during Happy Hour.   

Exciting Live Music and Events

There is always something fun going on at Tuckers Shuckers every single weekend of the year. Once summer rolls around, we infuse a little bit of that excitement into the weekdays too. Our stage hosts the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks. Once a month we hold our now famous Beer Pong Tournaments with a live DJ and big cash prizes.

15th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl

It is time for the biggest annual winter event at the Lake of the Ozarks, and the best bar on the Bagnell Dam Strip is ready to entertain you all night long!  The 15th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl includes over 20 bars, more than 30 buses, and it's only $10 to join in on all of the fun.  Tuckers Shuckers is the perfect starting point for a night full of excitement.

15th Annual Mardi Gras Pub Crawl

This Saturday, February 20, 2016 buses will begin taking happy pub crawlers all over town at 4:00 pm, and continue giving sober rides until 2:30 am.  These buses will make stops at all 21 participating bars and restaurants, as well as many of the hotels & motels along the pub crawl route.  One $10 wristband is the only cover charge that you will pay to join the fun of this incredible event.    

Dance all night at Tuckers Shuckers

Every stop will feature some type of live entertainment throughout the evening, but the best place to party at the Lake of the Ozarks always brings you the very best entertainment.  Beginning at 7:30 pm and continuing until the pub crawl is over, DJ Geefer Sutherland will keep everyone pumped and dancing at Tuckers Shuckers.

You have two options when it comes to bus routes.  The Main Bus Route stops at every single participating bar and restaurant all night long.  The Express Bus Route travels between four of the stops only.  This is for those people that need to get from one side of town to the other quickly.

Now Through February - LOTS of Parties at Tuckers Shuckers!

There's never a dull moment at Tuckers Shuckers, and the list of exciting events coming up over the next few weeks is proof of that.  Some visitors to the area assume that there is nothing to do in the winter at the Lake.  If you run into any of those people, you send them on over the the best restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks so they can see just how wrong they are!

Winter Beach Party - January 30

George is at it again!  He is the king of planning the last-minute party, and we love it! This Saturday, due to the predicted warm winter weather and the fact that we REALLY miss summer, Tuckers Shuckers is throwing a Winter Beach Party.  DJ Geefer Sutherland is heading down from Kansas City to play all of your favorite summer party music.  The shot girls will be offering some incredibly cheap Vegas Bombs too.  

If you really feel like playing along with this whole "beach" theme, anyone in a bikini gets well drinks and domestic draws for 25 cents!  Don't just throw on any old bikini, though, because at the stroke of midnight we will be giving away $200 in our bikini contest!    

Superbowl Sunday - February 7

Get in and get your seat early to watch the big game.  We expect to have a full house that day.  Not only because Tuckers Shuckers is the best place to watch the game at the Lake of the Ozarks, but also because we are giving away a brand new 50" Smart HDTV at halftime, and you have to be present to win.  Enter every single time that you eat or drink with us between now and the game.  With 28 tap beers, 2 bars, 28 HD TVs, and the most delicious food on the Bagnell Dam Strip, this is definitely the place to be!      

Beer Pong Tournament - February 12

As always, it's free to enter and you could take home part of the $700 in cash prizes given out to the top three teams!  Live music from our DJ will keep everyone's energy high, and you can count on some awesome drink specials.  Sign-up starts at 8 pm and we'll make room for 48 teams to compete.   

Valentine's Weekend - February 13 & 14

Treat your sweetheart to a delicious Surf & Turf dinner for Valentine's Day this year. We are extending this special treat over the entire weekend, so you can get this incredible meal on Saturday and Sunday.  Our full menu will still be available, but in honor of this romantic holiday, we've created an extra tasty meal for $29 per person that includes:

• A 21-day aged 6 oz. filet and a 7 oz. cold water lobster tail
• Asparagus and your choice of potato
• House made clam chowder or salad

Mardis Gras Pub Crawl - February 20

The lake area will be packed with party-goers in masks and beads for the 15th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Mardis Gras Pub Crawl.  For only $10, you get access to 32 buses that will take you around town to more than 20 different participating locations.  Every stop will have some type of live entertainment going on, and here at Tuckers Shuckers we will have the amazing DJ Geefer Sutherland.  Buses run from 4 pm - 2:30 am, and they even make stops at many local hotels and motels along the route.

New Year's Eve at Tuckers Shuckers - Don't Miss It!

The best place to party this New Year's Eve at the Lake of the Ozarks is with us! Tuckers Shuckers on the Bagnell Dam Strip is hosting the New Year's Eve Party of the Century Thursday night.  For only $40 for advance tickets, or $45 at the door, you will get food, drinks, confetti, balloons, party favors, go-go dancers, and an incredible DJ spinning the best dance hits!

Bringing along the most incredible dance music you've ever heard, we'll have DJ Murph out of St. Louis spinning all night long.  You don't have to leave the Lake of the Ozarks to party like you're in the middle of a big city.  Enjoy the experience with less traffic and friendlier crowds.     

OPEN BAR & APPETIZERS

For the low price of $40 (or $45 if you procrastinated, but still a great deal) the bar is open and the appetizer buffet will be full.  Drinks and food are included in your ticket price.  All you have to do is show up with that ticket and enjoy yourself!  

PARTY ATMOSPHERE

A balloon drop and confetti cannons happen at midnight, along with a champagne toast.  Leading up until that, there will be dancing by not only your fellow party-goers, but go-go dancers too!  In case you're a bit shy on the dance floor, they will show you how it's done.  The party won't stop until the bar shuts down at 1:30 am.

Holiday Party Games to Play With Friends

When you gather together with friends over the holidays, eating, drinking, and being merry is fun, but sometimes you need a few activities ready to get everyone loosened up.  Tuckers Shuckers on the Bagnell Dam Strip found a few entertaining party games that we put some holiday twists on.  After a round or two of these, your guests should be laughing and having fun.  

The best place to party at the Lake of the Ozarks is right here at Tuckers Shuckers. It's a great gathering spot for you and your friends.  Featuring two bars and a menu full of delicious food, your entire group will be full, happy, and having fun when you host your party with us.  We should be able to find you enough room to play any of the following games.      

Picking teams

When it's time to break into teams for games, this is the perfect way to mix things up. If everyone at the party knows each other well, this makes the team-picking random, and if some of your guests are new to each other, it's good for breaking the ice.  First, take a stack of old Christmas cards, tear off the front cover and rip it in half.  (If you need teams larger than two, rip it into that number of pieces.)  Give each guest a card piece.  When people locate their missing pieces, the person possessing it is their partner for the next game.

12 Shots of Christmas

Make a circle of shots with enough room in the center to spin a bottle.  You will need twelve real shots, and at least 12 non-alcoholic shots that look like real ones. Depending on the size of your party, you may want to add more.  Every person gets a chance to spin the bottle, and they must take the shot that it lands on.  That's the simple version.  If you would like to add a bit of a challenge, every time someone takes a drink they must say, "Mmmmm, water" (or whatever non-alcoholic drink that the shot resembles) trying to convince the group that it was non-alcoholic.  If the group can tell that they are lying, that person must take another turn.  

Jenga, with a twist

This will involve some preparation before the party, but can be used over and over again.  Everyone loves a competitive round of Jenga, but the instructions that you write on each piece gives this that extra special touch.  Here are a few fun ideas for what to write on the different pieces to get you started:

• Make a toast
• Arm wrestle person on your right
• Buy a round
• Take a group selfie
• Make 2 people drink
• Chug your drink
• Take another turn  

Human Christmas Tree

This involves a little creativity and lots of funny photos to post later.  The best games always embarrass someone!  This game works best with teams of three or more.  One lucky individual in each group volunteers to be the "tree", and the rest of the team races to decorate their "tree" better than the other teams "trees."  Be sure to have plenty of aluminum foil, garland, beads, ornaments, etc... for everyone to use.  Give an extra special prize for the most incredible tree topper fashioned.  

2 Truths and a Lie

This game lets you learn a lot about your friends.  Possibly things you'd rather not know, but still loads of fun.  Everyone takes a turn giving three statments about themselves, two that are the truth and one that is an outright lie.  If your team picks the lie, liar drinks.  If not, the team earns the drink.  If you don't want to play for drinks, just let someone keep score and announce the winning team after.  To put a holiday spin on this one, give out categories to make statements about, like the earliest Christmas they remember, the best or worst gifts they ever received, or the craziest thing they ever did at a New Year's Eve party.  

Christmas is only a few days away, but there is no rule saying that you can't celebrate at a later date.  Everyone gets busy during the holidays, so plan your get-together for the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve, or even throw a "Welcome to 2016" party in January.  Our Lake of the Ozarks oyster restaurant is the best place in town to throw a party.  With a little advance notice, we'd be thrilled to reserve the entire upstairs area for you and your friends.  That will give you plenty of room for all types of games and no interruptions from strangers.
