Awesome April Events at Tuckers Shuckers

We are at the beginning of a new month, and that means we've got a brand new lineup of the best live music at the Lake of the Ozarks coming your way. Not only that, but our delicious weekly specials our infamous monthly Beer Pong Tournament will be going on too. April is shaping up to be an entertaining month at Tuckers Shuckers.

The Musicians

DJ Relish and DJ Kyle have been keeping the patrons of the best bar on the Bagnell Dam Strip out of their seats and on the dance floor all winter long. They have become a part of the family here and never disappoint our crowds.

Jordan Heckemeyer is a talented new country artist from mid-Missouri. She is currently singing vocals for the popular country band Shiloh, but this month she and her guitar will be featured on our Tuckers Shuckers stage. 

Luna Jamboree claims that they could easily be mistaken for the lovechild of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Alabama Shakes. The band has been around since 2008 and refuse to be bound to a single musical genre. Their live show always leaves the audience hungry for more. 

Bill Ehelebe and Haley Powers are the dynamic duo that make up the always awesome Sax on the Beach. A lake area favorite that performs all over mid-Missouri, they cover a wide range of music from Etta James to Lady Gaga. Their show is packed with music, high energy, fun, and often games and prizes.  

The Beer Pong Tournament

As always, there is no entry fee to compete in our Beer Pong Tournament, but there will be $700 in cash prizes awarded to the winners. We begin signing up teams at 8 pm and keep going until the roster is full. In addition to a night of healthy competition and great music, we'll have shot specials and promo girls to keep the fun level high.

April is going to be another amazing month full of fun at the best restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks. Make your plans now to join us every weekend for nights full of music and excitement. We'll still be hosting our regular weekday specials too: Top Sirloin Tuesday (all day), Seafood Boil Thursday (all day), and Happy Hour from 3 pm - 6 pm, Monday through Friday. March Madness Starts THIS WEEK!

College basketball fans everywhere look forward to the NCAA Division I Tournament anxiously each year. This week, it's finally here! Tuckers Shuckers will be showing all of the games and partying like only we know how through the entire tournament. 

The Games

The best place to watch sports at the Lake of the Ozarks is right here with us. We've got 28 HD TVs placed conveniently all over the restaurant, upstairs, downstairs, and even outside. At Tuckers Shuckers, there's not a bad seat in the house. 

The play-in games get the action warmed up on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, March 15-16. The brackets start getting narrowed down this year on Thursday, March 17, at 11:15 am. That's a great way to start St. Patrick's Day!  

The Drinks

Basketball and beer - what a great combination! With our 28 beers on tap, plus a wide variety in bottles, you won't go thirsty. Our talented mixologists are always ready to mix up all of your favorite cocktails. We've got a full bar downstairs, and another full bar upstairs, so plenty of places to belly up! 

The Food

We've got the freshest oysters at the Lake of the Ozarks, along with an entire menu full of delicious menu items to choose from. During Happy Hour, Monday-Friday, we've got an unbelievable half-price appetizer menu available, as well as specials on draft beer and house wine. 

Since the tournament officially starts on St. Patrick's Day, we'll be serving up corned beef & cabbage all day long on March 17. Don't be surprised if that beer you're washing it down with is green, too. 

Play Our Basketball Tournament!

We love watching sports, but we love it even more when we get a chance to play. That's exactly what we're offering our customers this year. No, not a spot on one of the teams in the actual tournament, but a chance to be the "Pop-A-Shot" champion of the lake area. 

Every single day, now through April 4, all paying customers can try their hand at scoring the most baskets. We'll take the highest scoring player daily and add them to our own bracket for our finals on April 4th at 8 pm. Not only will you get bragging rights, but we'll also throw in a $750 gift card for the winner!



Tuckers Shuckers is the best place to watch sports at the Lake of the Ozarks, and during March Madness, it's the best place to get in on the action yourself. St. Pat's Party This Saturday at Tuckers Shuckers!

The Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade marks the unofficial opening to the Lake of the Ozarks' summer season. Yes, we still have a few days until St. Patrick's Day, and few more after that before it's even spring, but who cares! The lake area is so awesome, we get a head start on all the fun!

The best bar on the Bagnell Dam Strip will be serving green beer and other specials all day long on Saturday, March 12, and our kitchen will be cooking up a bit of Irish flavor. Tuckers Shuckers will start the festivities early while the parade is lining up, and we'll continue partying well into the night. This is a day that you do not want to miss out on!  

The Best Place to Watch the Parade.

Tuckers Shuckers has a front row seat for the parade, and our upstairs balcony offers a unique birds-eye perspective on all the action. You don't even have to come inside to refill your beer because our bartenders can take your order from the window. We will feed you and keep your drinks full the entire time the parade is going on.

The 32nd Annual Lake of the Ozarks St. Patrick's Day Parade will kick-off at 1:00 pm, and the streets will be closed to traffic from 12:45 - 3:00 pm. This event always brings out the crowds, so make sure you get here early to grab your spot.

The Best St. Patrick's Party

Not only is our Lake of the Ozarks restaurant the best place to catch the parade, we'll be partying ALL DAY LONG! Our DJ will keep the live music going all day, and we'll have both Budweiser promo girls and 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey promo girls working the crowd with lots of fun goodies. 

A St. Patrick's celebration wouldn't be complete without corned beef and cabbage, so we'll be serving it up all day too. Wash it down with a green beer or a little Irish whiskey to really get the party started. In addition to all of this, we'll be featuring some incredible giveaways throughout the day.

Saturday, March 12, the 32nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be making its way across the Bagnell Dam Strip. Tuckers Shuckers is the best place to watch all of the parades that travel to the Dam. Our open-air dining room allows for a front-row seat to all of the fun, and the view from our upstairs balcony simply can't be beat.

Friday, March 18 brings along another one of our now-famous Beer Pong Tournaments. We'll start signing up teams of two at 8 pm and keep going until we fill the roster. DJ Relish will keep the energy high while you and a friend compete for $700 in cash prizes! It's free to play, and we'll have some incredible shot specials ready for you.
