At Tuckers Shuckers, you have access to a fully stocked bar whether you choose to sit upstairs or down.  You'll find all of your favorite spirits here, along with a few tasty concoctions that only our incredible bartenders can mix up.  Two popular cocktails from our bar are:

Nectar of the Gods

A  scrumptious frozen drink made from Rum, Peach Schnapps, Mango Puree & Ice Cream Mix, served in a tall glass drizzled with Strawberry Puree.  

Freshest Margarita

We mix up Old Mecca Altos tequila with a little agave nectar and fresh lime juice for the freshest tasting margarita you've ever had!

     

Mixed drinks aren't the only thing done right at the best bar at the Lake of the Ozarks.  We have 28 different beers on tap every day.  Many stay the same year-round, but you'll always find a few new ones to try seasonally. Bikefest is Almost Here!

The best restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is excited to be a part of the 9th annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest September 17th - 20th!  In case you have been living in an oyster for the last decade, here's a little bit about why this is an event that you shouldn't miss, and why our oyster restaurant on the Bagnell Dam Strip is the place to hang out during Bikefest.

2015 Official Passport Stop

That's right, Tucker's Shuckers is an official stop for the 9th annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest.  There are over 200 bars and restaurants around the Lake eager to welcome the bikers, but only 24 Official Passport Stops.  Visit each or these, get your passport stamped, then drop it off at the "Official Passport Booth" at the Lake of the Ozarks Harley Davidson Dealership before 3 pm on Sunday, Sept. 20.  One lucky biker will win a 2014 FXSB Softail Breakout!  You can pick up your passports at any participating Bikefest Passport Stop for a suggested $20 donation.

Bikefest Events

There are several events happening all around the lake the weekend of Bikefest 2015.  Notable ones include vendor villages, burn out pits, a riding skill competition course, and sport bike stunt riders.  If that isn't enough, there are also 3 scenic rides to take:  Around the Lake, Ha HA Tonka, and the Devils Elbow.  Maps for these can be found at the Bikefest Lake of the Ozarks website.

Labor Day Begins An Eventful September

Many people are sorely mistaken thinking that Labor Day is the end of the fun in our area.  How wrong they are!  September alone is an incredible month full of excitement at the best restaurant on the Bagnell Dam Strip, and we plan to keep going strong through Fall and beyond.

Hot Summer Nights - Sept. 11

The final, award-winning Hot Summer Nights for 2015 is themed "Vettes for Veterans."  Veterans will be the center of attention this evening, alongside not only Corvettes, but all makes and models of impressive cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The Lake of the Ozarks Corvette Club will host a parade as the event's finale, and each car will have a veteran riding in it.  There will still be all of the same family fun going on that you've come to expect all up and down the Bagnell Dam Strip too.  

Flip Night - Sept. 14

Every Monday from 9 pm - close, bring your quarters to Tuckers Shuckers and get ready to flip for your drink.  We'll toss it up, and if you guess correctly, heads or tails, then you get your drink or shot for that 25 cents!  Guess wrong and you'll pay full price and lose your quarter.  

Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest - Sept. 17-20

September's monthly Bike Night on the Bagnell Dam Strip lands on the first night of this year's Bikefest.  Motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the U.S. will take over the Lake of the Ozarks.  Over 200 bars and restaurants, including Tuckers Shuckers, will participate in this, as well as many local businesses.  We are also one of the 24 Official Passport Stops for the poker run.  The weekend will be filled with scenic rides, stunt riders, concerts, incredible giveaways including 2 motorcycles, vendor villages, and much more.  This is an event that is incredible to both see and participate in.      

Celebrity Bartender Night - Sept. 24

For this special occasion, you will arrive to find a local or regional celebrity slinging drinks behind the bar.  Be kind to them, because all of their tips will be donated to a local charity.

Our second floor is an incredible area to hold all kinds of special events, and the upstairs balcony provides both fresh air and a great view of everything happening on the Bagnell Dam Strip.  When you reserve this area for your exclusive event, our awesome staff will help you take care of all of the party-day details - from setup and decorations to a custom menu and signature drinks.  When it's all over, you get to leave and we'll take care of the clean-up.  It sounds pretty incredible, doesn't it?  Here are a few ideas for the types of events that we love to host.    

Holiday Parties

A few eager people are already counting down the days until Christmas.  While it seems a bit soon to be thinking about it already, we expect our evenings in December to book up quickly for holiday parties.  Whether it's the crowd from the office, your distant cousins, or a a group of close friends, they will all have an excellent time when you bring them here to celebrate.   

     

Birthday Parties

You bring the cake, the guests bring the presents, and we'll take care of the rest. You'll have the entire upstairs to yourself, so go ahead and sing "Happy Birthday" as loud as you like.

The Signature Sandwiches and Awesome Burgers at Tuckers Shuckers

Even though we are all about the oysters here at Tuckers Shuckers, your favorite restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks has a talented kitchen staff that can create all kinds of mouth-watering menu items.  Today we are featuring our sandwiches and burgers, and we still managed to fit a couple of oyster options on this menu. We have the best food on the Bagnell Dam Strip and the following choices are proof of that.  


Oyster Sliders
Crispy fried oysters stacked on a sweet Hawaiian roll with crispy lettuce, a dill pickle slice, and Old Bay aioli.

Oyster Poor Boy
House shucked, battered and fried oysters stacked on French bread served with lettuce, tomato and mayo.

Lobster Roll
Chunks of Maine Lobster served in a split bun.  Try it blackened! 

Lobster Grilled Cheese
Lobster, shallot butter, three cheeses, fried egg served on a Hawaiian loaf.

Tuna Steak Sandwich
Ahi tuna, wasabi cream, teriyaki glaze, creamy cole slaw on a brioche bun.

THE Club
Flame broiled chicken breast, bacon, provolone, avocado, tomato, onion, lettuce & mayo on a brioche bun.

Kill Bill Pork Tenderloin
Pork tenderloin with ham and bacon, American cheese, red onion, an over easy egg & garlic mayo on a toasted brioche bun.

Prime Rib Philly
House roasted prime rib with onions, green peppers and covered in provolone cheese, served on French bread.

French Dip
Thinly sliced prime rib topped with provolone cheese and served with au jus.

Rolls Royce
Seared filet mignon over bleu crumbles. Topped with sautéed onions and spinach, served on a brioche bun with a side of aioli.

Cheeseburger Sliders
Mini burgers covered in melted cheddar-jack cheese, sautéed onions and Thousand Island dressing served on a sweet Hawaiian roll.
